Music legend Sheila E. and longtime civil rights activist Dolores Huerta will be honored at the debut of the Women’s History Month event, FEMME! Power Confab & Retreat, presented by AARP and Comcast NBCUniversal Telemundo, according to renowned content and conference producer INGEUITY. The two-day event will take place in person on March 29 and 30 at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena, California.

The Power Confab & Retreat theme is Celebrate + Illuminate + Elevate. FEMME! will celebrate “her-story” by recognizing historical icons, while shining a light on today’s change-makers and disruptors – making history on their own terms. FEMME! will also reveal success secrets by pulling back the curtain to share insights, wisdom, and experiences.

A two-day Confab & Retreat

FEMME’s two-day Confab & Retreat will reveal success secrets by lifting the curtain to allow participants to contribute their insights, knowledge, and experiences. Over 300 multicultural women leaders, executives, influencers, and businesswomen will come together to elevate one another by linking power beyond racial, generational, and industry boundaries!

Dolores Huerta

Co-founding the United Farm Workers, Dolores Huerta is also the head of the Dolores Huerta Foundation. She is also a key figure in the Chicano civil rights movement and one of the most significant labor activists of the 20th century.

Recognitions

Dolores Huerta will receive The Fighter Award at the FEMME! Legacy Awards on March 30, Sheila E. will receive the Muse Lifetime Achievement Award, and MC LYTE will receive the Living Legend Award, capping off the festivities. The event will come to a close with a musical performance by Sheila E.
