Backstage, Kravitz and Swift engaged in an “unexpected” conversation
The 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards took place on March 27. The award presentation is a celebrity-studded celebration of the most streamed musicians and songs on the iHeartRadio app and stations, as well as a sneak peek at the hottest tunes of 2023.
Lenny Kravitz, who hosted the awards ceremony, and Taylor Swift, who won the Innovator Award, are seen talking in a video that iHeartRadio shared on TikTok. At a night like this, celebrities chat with each other about a range of topics, so the interaction wasn’t particularly unusual, but Kravitz’s remark left fans wondering if he was alluding to his Hunger Games character.

Kravitz comment to Swift about her sparkly jumpsuit, “OK, you went in my closet.” Taylor responded as she showed off her awards show outfit, “Yeah, I was just inspired by you. It’s my favorite color.”
The casual comments made by Taylor and Kravitz were all lighthearted.

Taylor Swift exchanged words with Lenny Kravitz — and it was for an incredible reason.
During the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, both singers were in attendance to celebrate the biggest artists in the industry. The night was especially significant for Taylor as the “Anti-Hero” singer received the Innovator Award for her contribution to music. But in a new video posted on iHeartRadio’s official TikTok, fans saw Lenny call her name while the two passed each other backstage. As the musicians met, the “Are You Gonna Go My Way” vocalist had some thoughts about her sparkly jumpsuit.
