The 24th Season of The Voice Coaches Are Announced: Check Out the New Lineup

Are you a fan of The Voice?

Since it initially broadcast in the spring of 2011 on NBC, a number of judges have judged the singing reality competition. The judges chairs are faced away from the contestants during the first round of blind auditions, but when they press their red button to turn around, it indicates they would like to work with the singer.

Since the inception of the show, Blake Shelton has been a part of it; he is now leaving. His departure makes it possible to add a brand new judge.

Season 24 will be McEntire’s first time in the Coaches chair, but this is far from McEntire’s debut on The Voice. Not only is she the Mega Mentor on Season 23 of The Voice, but she also served as a Battle Advisor to Team Blake all the way back in Season 1. McEntire’s rich Voice history with Shelton makes her the perfect addition to the Coaches panel in his departure’s wake.

“It’s so much fun to be back on The Voice again,” McEntire said in a recent interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “It’s always a lot of fun to give advice because I study people when they perform, and I want to be touched when they’re singing to me.”

Niall Horan will be back for a second run on The Voice Season 24.

Horan has been a fresh face in Season 23 of The Voice, battling it out against Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and Chance the Rapper. Team Niall has been keeping his competing Coaches on their toes, and it looks like he isn’t done duking it out quite yet, returning this fall for another rotation in the red chair.

“I love finding new talent online and things,” Horan told NBC Insider ahead of his Season 23 debut. “So I really wanted to get involved and find a new crop of talent that we can nurture and make careers of.”

What talented crop of talent will Horan discover next?

The legendary John Legend is back for Season 24 of The Voice.

Legend was a fan-favorite Voice Coach from Seasons 16-22, boasting the Season 16 win with Team Legend recruit Maelyn Jarmon, so many were sad to see him go for Season 23. But Legend always intended to return to The Voicebut with a new baby at home, he decided to take a small break for Season 23.

“My family’s growing, I have a new album out, I’m ‘gonna do a little bit of touring, and so it’s probably better that I take a break,” Legend told Entertainment Tonight in 2022. “…But I’ll be back on The Voice, just not this coming season.”
