Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa’s Blockbuster Program
The second Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa, which will be curated by five-time Grammy Award winner Robert Glasper and headlined by critically acclaimed and prize-winning comedian Dave Chappelle, has unveiled its roster. The small town festival honoring jazz’s legacy during the 50th anniversary of hip-hop is hosted at Silverado Resort in Napa, California, and features an extraordinary lineup of cultural giants. Artists like Mary J. Blige, Nas, and Chance the Rapper are among others who have been influenced by the honesty and spirit of jazz.

“Like a blue note in music– which has a slightly different pitch– our festival has a unique tone by presenting big-name artists in small, intimate spaces,” said Steven Bensusan, president of Blue Note Entertainment Group. “You won’t find any other festival like this,” he added.

Three stages with well-known, diverse, and cutting-edge performers who have a profound enthusiasm for jazz mark the festival’s return to Napa. Digable Planets, Ari Lennox, Big Freedia, and Cordae are among the acts on the lineup that appeal to a broad age range of listeners. Parliament Funkadelic with George Clinton is another.
