A Star-Studded Ping Pong Tournament with a Host of Celebrity Players

Kershaw’s Challenge held its 10th annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity event Thursday night, July 27th to raise money for the foundation and its beneficiaries. The heat did not stop guests or sponsors from showing up at Dodger Stadium for a fun and productive evening of eating, drinking, and ping pong.
A truly deserving cause brought together prominent sports and entertainment figures. Each person made their way down the blue carpeted walkway and took pictures in front of the Kershaw’s Challenge Ping Pong 4 Purpose and sponsorship background that led to the Dodger Stadium center field entrance. Everyone present gathered with the goal of participating in the ping pong tournament or to donate money to the cause, socialize, and witness the paddle battles.
Food and entertainment was throughout the stadium as Cedric the Entertainer took the stage to greet the guests and officially announce the start of the ping pong battle rounds.
What is Ping Pong 4 Purpose?
PING PONG 4 PURPOSE is a celebrity ping pong competition which takes place on the field at Dodger Stadium to generate money for Kershaw’s Challenge and its beneficiaries.
On The “Blue” Carpet
The Kershaws organized their annual ping pong event to raise funds for children in need around the world. The invitation was open to anyone, including baseball fans, ping-pong enthusiasts, and anyone in between. The purpose of the event was to unite everyone for a worthwhile cause while having fun.

Attendees included The Kershaw’s, Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Brad Paisley, Aaron Paul and Bryan-Cranston, Austin and Nicole Barnes, former Lakers player Derek-Fisher and wife Gloria-Govan, Freddie Freeman and wife Chelsea, Mookie and Brianna Betts, Holly Robinson Peete and family, James Outman and wife Dasha Kraft, Justin-Collins, The Miz Mike Mizanin and others.

Who Won the Ping Pong Championship?
The initial thought would be Clayton Kershaw and his partner Austin Barnes. Not so fast. There were new competitors who have and appetite for winning and who are eager to put their skills to the test.
Ping Pong 4 Purpose has a new duo as its regining champions and IT IS none other than Mookie Betts and Freddie Freedman.
A Productive Fun-filled Summer Evening
The biggest success did not only happen on the field at Dodger Stadium, but also off the field as Kershaw’s Challenge continues to have an impact in the lives of those they help.
