The official trailer for the brand-new feature-length documentary REINVENTING ELVIS: THE ’68 COMEBACK was released by Paramount+ today. Exclusively on the service, the film will have its world debut in the United States and Canada on Tuesday, August 15, and in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Brazil, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy on Wednesday, August 16.
REINVENTING ELVIS: THE ’68 COMEBACK, which debuted just before the anniversary of Presley’s passing, shows what actually transpired during the production of this captivating hour of television. Nearly half of all TV viewers tuned in to watch Elvis Presley perform some of his greatest performances on the night of December 3, 1968, reviving his career and forever altering the pop-culture landscape. The special was the most watched television event of the year at the time it aired.

Featuring Brand-new Versions of Well-known Elvis Songs Performed by Artists of Today
Interviews with experts on Elvis are included in the documentary REINVENTING ELVIS: THE ’68 COMEBACK, which is directed by Emmy® Award-winning television filmmaker Steve Binder and has memories from people who attended the live performance. Additionally, it features brand-new renditions of well-known Elvis songs sung by contemporary performers, including Darius Rucker, Maffio, a Latin GRAMMY® winner, and Drake Milligan, a contestant on America’s Got Talent and a past cast member of CMT’s blockbuster series S.
