The Dodgers Acquired Manuel Margot and Tyler Glanow

After playing with the Tampa Bay Rays for the last six seasons, 30 year old Glasnow has joined the Dodgers. He had a career-best 21 starts in 2023, going 10-7 with a 3.53 ERA, allowing 47 runs in 120 innings while striking out 162.

In terms of wins, starts, strikeouts, strikeouts per nine (12.2), and innings pitched, he finished with career highs. He was 27-16 with a 3.20 ERA and 526 strikeouts in 388.1 innings over his six seasons with the Rays. He spent eight seasons in the Major Leagues, spending time with the Tampa Bay Rays (2018–2023) and Pittsburgh Pirates (2016–2018). In 529.2 innings, he has a 3.89 ERA and a combined record of 30-27.

The Pittsburgh Pirates selected the native of Southern California, who attended William S. Hart High School, in the fifth round of the 2011 First Year Player Draft.

Manuel Margot
Dodgers’ Outfielder

In 99 games for the Rays in 2023, Margot, 28, hit.264/.310/.376 with four home runs and 38 RBI. After playing in 360 games, he concluded his fourth season with the Tampa Bay Rays with 66 doubles, six triples, 19 home runs, and 153 RBI with a.984 fielding %.

He played four seasons with the Friars, starting his career with the San Diego Padres in 2021. In 428 games, he hit.248 with 33 home runs and 130 RBI.

On July 2, 2011, he left San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, to sign as a minor level free agent with the Boston Red Sox.
