The 2024 Community Love tour of the Dodgers kicked off today, featuring Dodger players, front office staff, and volunteers from Bank of America.
The first stop was the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in the City of Industry. The Dodgers organization helped pack boxes with essential items needed for those in need.

Tuesday, January 30
Tuesday morning kicks off with an electrifying LA Reads event at Gabriella Charter School, showcasing the incredible Dodger pitcher Landon Knack as he reads one of his treasured children’s books. The LA Reads initiative, in partnership with LADF, is on a mission to ignite a passion for reading in young minds through captivating programs and enriching educational tools, ensuring that the joy of reading resonates with every individual.
The afternoon will bring Dodger legend and current broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela to Homeboy Industries, a non-profit organization that helps former gang members and people who were in jail. He will help make and serve tacos at Home Girl Café and enjoy a lively performance from a mariachi group.
On Tuesday, the Worthy of Love Birthday Bash will take place at Dodger Stadium, where 500 homeless youth and their families will celebrate their birthdays with Dodger players Landon Knack and Nick Frasso, along with Bank of America volunteers. Worthy of Love is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating special birthday celebrations and experiences for homeless children.
