What Makes This Watch Party So Important?
Monica Ramirez, The Latinx House Cofounder: “It was very important for us to create an event that brought communities together because we are rooting for one another. We need to root for one another. We’re not just rooting for our own community because, just as much as we are lifting up ours, we need to show solidarity with others.”

Sarah Jones, (Sell/Buy/Date) Director, Writer, Producer, and cohost of the event: “I think that it’s that understanding that when we all come together we have a richer conversation, we have better films, we have better critiques, and that’s what we all need.”

Jesse Garcia, actor (Flamin’ Hot)- “I think bringing Latinos, Asians, and Black folks together to celebrate the wins that we’ve had this season is important. Knowing that we are supporting each other, watching each other’s movies, and being in each other’s shows, we can’t help but win. I think these kinds of events are important to help us celebrate each other.”

The Latinx House Oscars Watch Party was the place to be for an unforgettable evening filled with glamour, excitement, and celebration.
