The 97th Oscars® Show Date Has Been Announced by ABC and The Academy

The 2025 OSCARS

The 97th Academy Awards® will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, according to a recent announcement from ABC and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The program will broadcast live from the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST on ABC and in over 200 territories throughout the globe.

The Academy Awards are scheduled in March to strategically align with the awards season calendar, ensuring it garners maximum attention from industry professionals and the public. By being held in March, The Academy Awards can benefit from the buzz generated by other prominent awards ceremonies, building up anticipation and hype for the main event.
