Pink’s Summer Carnival is the third-highest-grossing concert tour by a woman as of August 2024.

6.9
Dodger Stadium was filled with fans Sunday night, September 15, but no one was there for a Dodgers game.
All in attendance were eager and excited to see the one and only P!NK. As part of her SUMMER CARNIVAL Tour, the gravity-defying songstress came ready to give the fans a show of a lifetime.
Fans of all ages showed up to spend a cool summer night with P!nk. It wasn’t a sea of pink, but many came dressed for the occasion, whether it was pink shoes, cowboy hats, or t-shirts with P!nk’s image plastered on the front and back to show their allegiance to the pop star.

The large stage was decorated with silver palm trees, inflatable carnival characters, large red lips with white teeth showing above the stage, and the words summer carnival in large pink letters, all set against a black-covered stage.

Three large screens were positioned—one on either side of the stage and one on the ground at center field for fans seated furthest from the stage.
Openers
DJ KID CUT UP warmed up the crowd prior to the start of the concert, spinning a wide selection of songs to prep the crowd for the main attraction.

The Script
The Irish rock group The Script took the stage at 6:43 p.m. and played six songs to get the audience warmed up before Sheryl Crow hit the stage.
After their act concluded, the stage was prepared for Crow, who appeared on stage at 7:28. She performed for around thirty minutes.
Sheryl Crow
“We’re at Dodger Stadium,” Sheryl reminded everyone, and that got the fans excited.
She got the crowd to join her in singing “If it makes you happy.”
Crow stated that she and Pink are friends and that she loves opening up for her.
The crowd cheered her as she finished the song, “One Way or Another,” by new wave band Blondie.
DJ KID CUT UP asked how many people were there to see P!nk, and the stadium erupted.
IT’S SHOW TIME
Before Pink took the stage, a Pink Screen Persona similar to “Max Headroom” called for the audience to scream, and they did.
Pink took the stage at 9:10 to a (full house) ready to be entertained by the one and only Pink herself. She “took the stage” from the large mouth high above the stage, performing aerial acrobatics as she welcomed everyone and sang her top selling hit “Get the Party Started.”
Known for her acrobatic performances, Pink did not disappoint the audience. She danced, sang, interacted with the fans, and of course performed aerial acrobatics, giving the crowd a summer carnival thrill.
Highlights of the Concert
When she performed songs—no backup dancers on stage—it was much more enjoyable and authentic. Pink has a natural singing talent that is right for showcasing her gift.
Many times during the concert, fans of course screamed out, “I love you!” and Pink in return shared her love for her fans.

A touching moment during the show was when Pink’s daughter, 13-year-old Willow, came on stage and sang “Cover Me in Sunshine.” Definitely a proud mom moment.

Pink closed the show performing her Billboard Hot 100 song, “So What.”

Rating: 6.9 Language-most noticeable the F word (said more than once), suggestive dancing at times by backup dancers
Responsible performance: not completely–young people (pre-teens) in the audience. She tried to please everyone with her words and actions.
IS IT WORTH IT?
If you are a die-hard Pink fan, you will answer with a resounding, “Yes!”
If you are a fan of a few of her songs or someone who would prefer not to be exposed to profanity at a concert, especially with young children in the audience and some questionable dance routines, then no.
