Get ready for a cool collab! HEINZ and the award-winning producer Mustard are joining forces for an epic year packed with surprises and a brand-new, limited-edition HEINZ product.

Two Legendary Mustards

Last night, during the Grammy Awards, HEINZ and producer Mustard announced their collaboration, Mustard x Mustard, introducing a limited-edition HEINZ product created by Mustard, the new Chief Mustard Officer. This marks the first time HEINZ has co-created a new sauce in the U.S. in nearly a decade.

Dijon AKA Mustard

Mustard, whose real name is Dijon, has made a name for himself as a visionary in his industry with a career that has influenced the sound and culture of contemporary hip-hop and R&B. He is also the source of the viral soundbite “MUSTAAAAAAAAAARRRD.”

Beyond the music, his characteristic HEINZ Mustard chain, embellished with diamonds, is a testament to his enduring love of HEINZ.

The collaboration between HEINZ and Mustard, which has its roots in their mutual faith in mustard seeds, comes after months of fan requests for the two legendary mustards to combine and unite the realms of music, culture, and fine dining.

Cooking and Grilling Play a Big Part in Mustard’s Life

“This collab coming to life is a big deal and something that has been decades in the making for me,” says Mustard. “Everyone knows me for my beats and sound, but what they don’t know is that cooking and grilling is a huge part of my life. I’m on the grill every chance I get. I’ve been using HEINZ since I was a kid, so partnering with them is something I’ve always wanted to do.”

In addition to the new product, Mustard has been appointed as HEINZ’s first-ever Chief Mustard Officer.

In this role, Mustard is contributing more than just his name; he is actively involved in all aspects of the collaboration, including organizing events throughout 2025 and remixing unique recipes.

A classic HEINZ Ketchup commercial transformed into a preview for the collaboration and Mustard’s new limited-edition flavor in a short film that featured the viral soundbite and asked fans whether they were ready to try the remix.

This marked the official launch of the collaboration.
