Ahead of Black Heritage Night at Dodger Stadium on Thursday afternoon, June 19, the Dodgers will hold a celebrity softball game with three-time World Series champion Mookie Betts.

Numerous superstars from the entertainment and sports worlds will play in the Juneteenth game.

Fans are urged to arrive early to enjoy the softball game, which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets for the 7:10 p.m. start versus the San Diego Padres are still available at Dodgers.com/tickets.

Celebrity softball teams

The celebrity softball teams will be coached by Mookie Betts and former NBA star Matt Barnes.

The duo will offer live commentary and coach their teams, who will wear special Juneteenth jerseys featuring Betts’ celebrity softball patch.

Betts is excited to host the celebrity game

“I’m super excited to host the first celebrity softball game on Black Heritage Night,” said Betts. “It’s going to be a good time with great vibes, and something I hope to do for years to come. Thank you to everyone who is playing in the game and helped put on this event.”

Celebs you can expect to see

Players, umpires, and spectators will include singers like Nelly, Lil’ Wayne, and Lizzo, as well as music executive Karen Civil.

Athletes from various sports, including Terrell Owens, James Loney, Jordan Love, and Mo’ne Davis, will also participate. Comedians and actors such as Anthony Anderson and Karrueche Tran will round out the teams.

Before and after the celebrity softball game, the Harmony Project, a Los Angeles music education organization supporting low-income families, will perform on the outfield warning track, while DJ Severe provides walk-up music and tunes between innings.

Dodger Stadium will open its gates at 5:10 p.m. for Black Heritage Night, featuring a celebrity softball game at 5:30 p.m.

Fans will enjoy music from DJ B. Rush and can obtain an exclusive striped Mookie Betts jersey with a special ticket pack.

Specialty foods and drinks, including Nashville hot chicken wings and Mookie’s mac and cheese, will be available at various locations, alongside a sweet potato pie with whipped cream and a specialty cocktail, Mookie’s Music City Mule.
