Brandon Blackstock, Ex‑Husband of Kelly Clarkson, Dies at 48 After Cancer Battle

Brandon Blackstock, the ex‑husband and former manager of singer Kelly Clarkson, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 48.

A family representative confirmed that he had been privately battling cancer for more than three years, ultimately succumbing peacefully while surrounded by family according to CBS News.

Clarkson postponed her Las Vegas residency on August 6, citing her ex‑husband’s illness and her need to be present for their two children.

Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas.
