Honoring Rhythm Nation 1814 Induction

Five-time Grammy Award winner Janet Jackson will appear at the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala on May 8 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The event, hosted by the Recording Academy and Grammy Museum, celebrates the induction of her album Rhythm Nation 1814.
Expanded Performer Lineup
New additions include Erykah Badu, Fyütch and Aura V, and Taylor Hanson. Previously announced performers include George Clinton, Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Josh Groban, Lucinda Williams, Norah Jones, Take 6, and Teddy Swims.
Tribute Performances
Artists will honor 2026 inductees with live tributes. Highlights include performances celebrating works by Ella Jenkins, Funkadelic, Heart, Lucinda Williams, The Soul Stirrers, and Nick Drake.
Special Awards and Additional Sets
Norah Jones will perform as the Ray Charles Architect of Sound Award recipient. Josh Groban and Teddy Swims will join a tribute to Visionary of Music Award recipient Warner Records.
2026 Inducted Recordings
The Gala recognizes 14 recordings spanning decades of music. Inductees include works by 2Pac, Radiohead, Alice Coltrane, Selena, and others across genres.
Auction and Proceeds
An online auction runs May 5 through May 21. Items include signed guitars from artists such as Charli xcx, ROSÉ, and Sabrina Carpenter, along with tickets to the 2027 Grammy Awards. Proceeds support the Grammy Museum.

Event Details
Journalist Anthony Mason returns as host. Production is led by Ken Ehrlich with a team of industry producers, and music direction by Cheche Alara.
