Holidays at Disneyland Resort Return With New Festive Experiences, Entertainment and Seasonal Favorites

The holiday season is back at the Disneyland Resort from November 13, 2026, to January 6, 2027. You can enjoy festive decorations, special shows, holiday treats and drinks, new merchandise, and fun experiences all around the resort.

This year, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their pals are showing off exciting new outfits that are inspired by holiday trips and a snowy mountain gathering.

Also, Santa Claus is making a new stop on his holiday journey at Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn in Disneyland Park and at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park from November 13 to December 24.

Disneyland Park Holiday Favorites

Visitors can experience the comeback of World of Color – Season of Light at Disney California Adventure, plus beloved Disneyland attractions like A Christmas Fantasy Parade and Believe…in Holiday Magic, which includes fireworks and seasonal “snowfall.”

Sleeping Beauty Castle changes into Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, adorned with over 80,000 sparkling lights and artificial “snow” that creates a cheerful atmosphere along Main Street, U.S.A. and other parts of Disneyland.

Holiday Entertainment at Disney California Adventure

The Disney Festival of Holidays starts on November 13 at Disney California Adventure.

It features cultural music and dance, seasonal food and drinks, and celebrations that celebrate holiday traditions from all over the world.

Entertainment includes the Holiday Toy Drummers, Mickey’s Happy Holidays cavalcade, Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season, and A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is also back with live music, special dishes, character appearances, and a street party with The Three Caballeros, folklórico dancers, mariachis, and Brazilian samba dancers.

Seasonal Food and Merchandise

Holiday goodies and special menu items are back at the resort. Some popular choices are the Mickey elf shake at Schmoozies! and the festive cranberry crispy chicken sandwich at Galactic Grill.

There are also new seasonal souvenirs like the Mickey Train Light-Up popcorn bucket and the Holiday Stitch Christmas Tree sipper.

New holiday merchandise collections have arrived, including the Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection and the Disney Vintage Holiday Collection, which offer clothing, accessories, home decorations, and gifts.

Holiday Magic Beyond the Parks

The holiday festivities are still happening at the Disneyland Resort hotels, and Santa will be showing up at certain times.

Visitors can also check out a giant 7-foot gingerbread display in the Great Hall lobby at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

The Downtown Disney District will also take part in the celebration with festive decorations, special treats, fun entertainment, and holiday activities.
