It was a tad chilly Saturday, February 3, 2024, when the Los Angeles Dodgers threw their famous Dodgerfest bash sponsored by Budweiser. The event was a treat for die-hard Dodger fans, who got to spend a delightful day on the field and around the Stadium. They could munch on delicious treats from the Dodgers Concession stands and, fingers crossed, catch a glimpse of their beloved Boys in Blue.
The Event was Sold Out
Dodgerfest, the “hottest” ticket in town, welcomed a whopping 35,000 fans who were willing to spend $10 each to be a part of the action. The event was an absolute sellout for enthusiastic Boys in Blue fans. Among the attendees, numerous first-timers expressed their thrill to be part of the event and brimming with anticipation and dreams of catching a glimpse of their favorite player, and die-hard fans who proudly pledged their allegiance to seasoned stars like Joe Kelly, Mookie Betts, and Kike Hernadez.
Game On! Players Gear Up for an Exciting Season with Ohtani
Approximately 25 players eagerly gathered to meet the press and step onto the Dodgerfest interview stage, ready to express their thoughts to the fans. Almost every player was questioned about their perspective on the addition of Shohei Ohtani, and they confidently expressed their belief in a great year ahead, not only with him but also with the rest of the team.

Kyle Hurt stated that Ohtani is a phenomenal talent.

Ohtani’s Arrival Sparks Excitement among Dodgers Players: Prepare for a Game-Changing Collaboration!
The opportunity to meet Ohtani and play alongside the two-way superstar in the upcoming 2024 season had the players buzzing with excitement, especially since many of them hadn’t crossed paths with him before in the world of major league baseball.
Shohei Ohtani
Dodgerfest took center stage this weekend, with the star attraction being none other than the newly acquired pitcher and player, Shohei Ohtani. During the event, Ohtani took the opportunity to express his excitement about joining the Dodgers and the overwhelming support he received from the fans in attendance.

“It’s my first time standing in front of all the Dodger fans with my Dodger jersey on so it’s a great feeling and I can’t wait. I know the Dodger fans are really passionate and they’re excited about the team so I feel the same.”

“The only choice is winning the World Series. That’s every team’s goal and that’s definitely one of ours (the Dodgers).”
Dodgerfest Old vs New
At #Dodgerfest this year, things were organized in a completely different way compared to previous years. The players were accompanied by several security members as they moved from one area to another. This is not a new practice, but it was taken more seriously this time, with a heightened level of security and awareness of the surroundings. Unlike in the past Fan/Dodgerfests, there wasn’t as much freedom of movement. Security has always been a part of the event, and rightfully so, but it seemed like the players were not as easily accessible to the fans as they used to be.
All in all fans appeared to enjoy themselves and are looking forward to the start of the 2024 MLB Baseball season with the hope of another Dodgers World Championship win under “our” belt.
