It may seem like it was just “yesterday” that the Los Angeles Dodgers persevered and won the 2024 World Series Championship, held a victory parade for the fans, and took a short break to regroup for the upcoming 2025 season. And to some degree, it was; but time, as we all know, continues to move forward.
All that to say, it’s Spring Training time for the Boys in Blue.
The Dodgers’ first day of Spring Training took place at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ. What was of great interest was seeing Shohei Ohtani and Dustin May throwing pitches.

Since August 23, 2023, Ohtani has not pitched because of a serious elbow injury that required several operations affecting his skills as a two-way player. Dustin May was also sidelined for the whole 2024 season after undergoing surgery to repair an esophageal tear.
Both athletes are now preparing for a much awaited return to the game.
