FASHION REVOLUTION 2024: Celebrating Inclusion in Fashion & Beauty

As the Runway of Dreams^TM Foundation, a trailblazing nonprofit that promotes inclusion, acceptance, and opportunities in fashion and beauty for individuals with disabilities, proudly announces its stunning 10-year anniversary event, FASHION REVOLUTION, get ready for an incredible celebration. This historic event, sponsored by VS&Co, will take place at Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn, New York on September 9, 2024, during New York Fashion Week.

Celebrating and advancing inclusion in the fashion and beauty sectors.

Fashion Revolution will display the innovative work of top companies in the field of Adaptive and Universally Designed products on more than sixty models with a variety of backgrounds and disabilities. With the same goal of celebrating and advancing inclusion in the fashion and beauty sectors, this remarkable event will bring together over 500 prominent executives and DEI advocates under one roof. Tommy Hilfiger, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Target, Victoria’s Secret & PINK, and Zappos shoes will be among the brands showcased on the catwalk.

FASHION REVOLUTION Host

The host of FASHION REVOLUTION will be Canadian model, actor, and advocate Madison Tevlin, who starred in the ground-breaking comedy “Champions”. For World Down Syndrome Day in 2024, Madison is the face of the viral advertisement “Assume That I Can,” which had over 150 million views in less than a week.

Runway of Dreams New Event Feature

Runway of Dreams is pleased to reveal a thrilling new feature for the upcoming event. As part of a project dubbed “NEXT GEN,” three categories of models with disabilities will collaborate with six gifted Fashion Design students from the esteemed Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to create runway-ready looks that specifically address the dressing challenges of the models in intimates, athleisure, or pajamas.

Runway of Dreams founder Mindy Scheier and the VS&Co Adaptive design team will collaborate closely with FIT students to make sure the designs are fashionable and practical while also taking the models’ comfort and mobility into account. The grand finale of Runway of Dreams 2024 Fashion Revolution will include the final pieces.

VS&Co will also receive the Runway of Dreams Foundation’s 2024 Pioneer of Change Award.
