Infielder/outfielder Mookie Betts was recalled off the injured list by the Los Angeles Dodgers, and infielder/outfielder Amed Rosario was designated for assignment.

Dodgers’ infielder
Since June 16, Betts, 31, has been sidelined due to a fractured left hand. Before the injury, he played in 72 games, hitting.304 with 10 home runs and 40 RBI. After five seasons with the Dodgers, the 2018 American League MVP slashed.285/.377/.532, with 123 home runs and 433 runs scored in 533 games.

Over his 1,337 games in the Major Leagues, the seven-time All-Star has collected 262 home runs and 796 RBI. Out of Overton High School, he was first selected in the fifth round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft.
Amed Rosario
Designated for Assignment
Rosario, 28, had a 1-for-1 day yesterday against the Pirates along with a walk and an RBI. After being acquired by the Dodgers on July 29th from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for minor league pitcher Michael Flynn, he has appeared in five games with the team.
He scored two runs and went 3-for-11. He has played in 81 games with the Rays and Dodgers this season, batting.305 with two home runs and 28 RBI. He is a.275 hitter with 62 home runs and 362 RBI in his ninth Major League season, having played for New York (2017–20), Cleveland (2021-23), Los Angeles (2023–24), and Tampa Bay (2024). In July of 2012, the Mets signed him as an international free agent.
