31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations Now Open

The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® are currently accepting nominations at sagawards.org/submissions. The SAG Awards nominees will be made public on Wednesday, January 8, and the winners will be presented live on Netflix on Sunday, February 23.

SAG Nomination Submissions

The time frame to submit nominations for consideration is available now at sagawards.org/submissions and ends at 5 p.m. (PT) on Friday, November 1. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the SAG Awards nominations will be revealed.

The winners will be announced on Sunday, February 23, 2025, during the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. At 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT), a live feed of the two-hour event will be available on Netflix.

WHO MAY SUBMIT

Performers in Motion Pictures and Primetime Television shows that adhere to the framework of conventional Series, Television Movies, and Limited Series are eligible to submit their work for the SAG Awards. Producers, studios/networks, agencies, managers, or publicists may submit a performance from 2024 for consideration in the actor’s preferred category with the actor’s consent. Performers are able to contribute their own work as well. The only way to submit is online.

NOMINATIONS VOTING

The nominees will be selected by independent motion picture and television nominating committees. Five thousand SAG-AFTRA members from throughout the country, chosen at random this spring, make up the voting panels. Voting for nominations begins on Monday, December 16, and ends on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

FINAL VOTING

All eligible SAG-AFTRA members may vote when the candidates are announced to decide who will win the coveted Actor® statuettes for this year.

119,000+ SAG-AFTRA members made up the voting body of the previous year. The last day to vote is Wednesday, January 15. It is recommended to vote online.
