2024 L.A. Comic Con Highlights: Cosplay and Community

L.A. Comic Con 2024 was an event that made many attendees feel like kids in a candy shop—if the candy shop was filled with superheroes, Jedi, movie villains, and other comic book & gaming characters, that is! It included activities such as panel discussions with industry creators, workshops for artists, and exclusive merchandise from popular franchises. Cosplayers paraded around showcasing their costumes and fans, whether dressed in their best superhero gear or looking like they just rolled out of bed, had a blast spotting their favorite characters, snapping photos, meeting celebrities, collecting autographs, and diving headfirst into the chaotic ocean of comic and gaming culture. This three-day costume party gathered thousands of fans all on the hunt for pop culture trends and a sense of belonging among their peers!
