Saturday night, in front of a live audience at The Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, the Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild revealed the winners of its 12th Annual MUAHS Awards, which were sponsored by L’Oréal Groupe and Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty.
In 23 categories, including film, television, music videos, and theater entertainment, the MUAHS Awards honor outstanding talent and inventiveness in makeup artists and hair stylists. Broadway and foreign theatrical performances have been included to the theater category this year.

The event was hosted by Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson, the married power couple from the popular “Dancing With the Stars” series and two-time Mirror Ball champions, who also wowed with a few dance moves.
Host, musician, and social media entrepreneur Frankie Grande made a comeback for the sixth year as the main presenter of the “Live from the Red Carpet” Pre-Show Livestream.
The awards ceremony was presided over by Local 706 President Julie Socash.
