Paul Skenes once again dominated in a wrap-up series at PNC Park, leading the Pirates to a sweet 5–3 victory and finishing off the Dodgers with a clean sweep.
Skenes, who’s definitely in the mix for the Cy Young, totally shut down the LA hitters yet again, while Blake Snell, despite pitching well, just didn’t get the run support he needed.
The Dodgers, now back home and trending downward, will need to recalibrate fast if they hope to rebound in the stretch run.
