Buehler, who is 29 years old, will be starting for the Dodgers tonight against the Marlins. This will be his first start since June 10, 2022, when he played against San Francisco. The pitcher, who is from Kentucky, missed the entire 2023 season due to recovering from elbow surgery. Before his injury, he had been with the Dodgers for six seasons and had an impressive record of 46 wins and 16 losses, with a 3.02 ERA and 690 strikeouts in 638.1 innings. In 2020, he played a crucial role in helping the Dodgers win their first World Championship in 32 years, with a record of 2 wins and 0 losses and an ERA of 1.80 in five postseason starts. He was selected by the Dodgers in the 2015 draft as the 24th overall pick from Vanderbilt University.
