Dodgers’ Chris Taylor Braves the Icy Waters for Charity

Over the weekend, Chris Taylor, his wife Mary, and some of his Dodger teammates braved the icy waters at Manhattan Beach to raise money for the CT3 Foundation to help support the Friendship Foundation as they support parents and families who have children and young adults with special needs. The event was hosted by Mario Lopez.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have completed a trade, sending left-handed pitcher Caleb Ferguson to the New York Yankees. In return, they will receive left-handed pitcher Matt Gage and right-handed pitcher Christian Zazueta Jr.

In his five games with the Houston Astros last season, Gage, 30, struck out eight batters in 6.2 innings.

Zazueta Jr.

The previous season, Zazueta, 19, made 12 starts, pitched in 12 games for the Dominican Summer League Yankees (DSL), giving up 19 runs in 52 innings while striking out fifty batters. With a 3.29 ERA and a 3-2 record, he kept hitters’ batting average to .211 while pitching.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have made an exciting addition to their roster by signing left-handed pitcher James Paxton to a one-year contract for the 2024 season.

Paxton, aged 35, showcased his prowess in 2023 with 19 stellar starts for the Boston Red Sox. His impressive performance resulted in a 7-5 record with a notable 4.50 ERA and an impressive tally of 101 strikeouts in 96.0 innings, while allowing only 33 walks.

Announcing the Dodgers 2024 Promotional Schedule

The Dodgers promotional schedule will feature 27 stadium-wide giveaways, as well as theme nights and special celebrations. Notably, there will be 10 unique Friday night drone shows during the season, with the first one scheduled for March 29th against the Cardinals.

Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead

The 2024 bobblehead series kicks off on March 30 vs. St. Louis with Freddie Freeman, presented by Bank of America, followed by Brusdar Graterol on April 13 vs. San Diego.

Additional bobblehead giveaways in the first half include Walker Buehler, LA vs NYM, Shohei Ohtani, (May 16 vs. Cincinnati), Will Smith, Mookie Betts, Tyler Glasnow, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Bobby Miller, Jason Heyward bobblehead.

Other exciting giveaways include a Fernando Valenzuela jersey on April 1 vs. San Francisco, a Dodger hooded sweatshirt, on April 3 vs. San Francisco, a special Brooklyn logo cap, on Jackie Robinson Night, April 15 vs. Washington, and a Joe Kelly home No. 99 jersey on June 11 vs. Texas.

The Dodgers are gearing up to celebrate Independence Day at home on July 4 as they face off against Arizona. Fans can look forward to an electrifying fireworks show, sponsored by Budweiser, making it a thrilling event for all in attendance.

Theme nights are back and fans can take home an exclusive item with the purchase of a ticket-pack ticket.
