Tonight’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium was highlighted by the celebration of Japanese Heritage Night. But prior to the game, the organization held a press conference to discuss the planned Hall of Fame’s Transpacific Baseball Exhibit. Items on exhibit were:
- Team Japan jersey worn by Yu Darvish during 2009 World Baseball Classic.
- Signed plate from Dodgers 1956 tour of Japan.
- Game-worn spikes from the 2002 season worn by Dodgers pitcher Kazuhisa Ishii.
- Ball thrown by Hideo Nomo during a no-hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sept. 17, 1996.
- Ichiro Suzuki artifact.
- Shohei Ohrani’s bat.
