The Season of Giving with the Dodgers Turkey Giveaway
On Tuesday, November 19, the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted their annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway at Dodger Stadium, an event that has become a cherished tradition in the community. This year, thousands of local families took part in a drive-thru turkey giveaway at the iconic venue. All were excited to receive not only a turkey but also all of the fixings like cranberry sauce, boxed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and a pie to help make their holiday meals special.
The atmosphere was lively and cheerful, filled with laughter, music, and the sounds of gratitude as Dodger pitchers Anthony Banda, Landon Knack, Tony Gonsolin, and Dodger alum Manny Mota along with volunteers from Jacoby & Meyers loaded the cars with a Thanksgiving meal.

Everyone left with a smile, a happy holiday, and some took a quick picture of one of the Dodgers’ pitchers as they drove away.
2,000 Thanksgiving Meals to Help Local Families
Together with Jacoby & Meyers, the Dodgers donated 2,000 Thanksgiving meals to help local families enjoy their holiday. They have worked with the Los Angeles Unified School District to identify families in need, particularly those who are homeless or experiencing difficult circumstances, with assistance from the Homeless Education Program.

This event showed how dedicated the Dodgers and Jacoby & Meyers are to helping the Los Angeles community, making sure that families in need can get food during the holiday season.
