In the four games they will play against the Colorado Rockies, the Dodgers have won two of them. Not only did the Boys in Blue win the game, but the Dodgers’ organization also hosted an opening ceremony to officially start “Fernandomania” Weekend by retiring Fernando Valenzuela’s number.
Valenzuela and his family displayed their appreciation during the opening ceremony last night to formerly retire the number 34.
Dodger Insider posted on Twitter (X) Valenzuela’s answer to his thoughts on the events of the day.

He said when asked if it was one of the best days of his life, “I believe so. … This is a very emotional day.”
