The Los Angeles Dodgers have brought back infielder/outfielder Kiké Hernández from the injured list and sent infielder Alex Freeland down to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hernández Returns From Injury List for the Second Time
Hernández, who is 34 years old, is returning from the injured list for the second time this season and has missed a total of 104 games this year.
He has only played in two games this season, where he went 4-for-4 with one home run and two doubles.
Over his career with the Dodgers, he has played 922 games, hitting 96 home runs and driving in 322 runs. This is his 13th season in Major League Baseball.

Freeland Stats

Freeland, who is 24, has a batting average of .231 with three home runs and 19 RBIs in 72 games this season with the Dodgers. He made his debut in 2025, hitting two home runs and getting six RBIs in 29 games.
The Dodgers drafted him in the third round of the 2022 First Year Player Draft from the University of Central Florida, and he has a .257 batting average with an .805 OPS and 50 home runs in 367 minor league games.
