On Sunday, Dec. 28 (8–10 p.m. ET/PT), CBS and The Recording Academy® invite viewers to a two-hour celebration of Latin music’s impact on American culture. Streaming on Paramount+, the special—called “A GRAMMY® Celebration of Latin Music”—features popular artists, genre collaborations, and moments that show how Latin music influences culture and trends in the United States.
Hosts
Co‑hosts Wilmer Valderrama (known for NCIS) and multi‑talented singer‑songwriter and actress Roselyn Sánchez lead the evening. Both bring strong ties to Latin heritage and pop culture, giving viewers a familiar guide through the night.
Their presence signals a celebration centered on artists and creators who have shaped Latin sound across decades.
An extensive lineup of performers
Featured performers include Ángela Aguilar, Gloria Estefan, Luis Fonsi, Prince Royce, Jon Secada, and The Cast of Broadway’s Buena Vista Social Club—artists who bring both reverence for tradition and contemporary flair.
The evening also showcases surprising pairings and genre‑bending moments, with appearances by Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Maren Morris, and rock icons such as Nuno Bettencourt and Orianthi joining forces with Latin acts.

Notable collaborations
Notable collaborations offer new takes on familiar favorites. The Warning will join Billy Idol and Steve Stevens for an energetic blend of punk rock and Latin rock, while The Cast of Buena Vista Social Club celebrates the roots of Cuban music.
These crossovers highlight the event’s main idea: Latin music is not confined; it mixes with pop, rock, jazz, Broadway, and more.

Guests include Daddy Yankee, Emilio Estefan, John Leguizamo, Lin Manuel Miranda, Harvey Mason jr., Luis Miranda, Rita Moreno, and Carlos Santana. Their interviews and appearances add context to Latin music’s past and present.
